This shawl has a warp of black wiry linen, woven with a weft of
charcoal New Zealand merino wool. The intermittent stripes are
made up of old Japanese cottons woven in a weft faced structure
and negative space. Details are made up of gold lacquered
Japanese silk and vintage found silks in a soumak warp wrapping
