Azuma bag in white & greige hemp cotton weather

White and greige two-layered, furoshiki style, Azuma bag by Mittan.

The bag is inspired by the behavior and spirituality that Japanese people have inherited since ancient times, namely "tying" and "wrapping". It has a unique design of two connected Azuma bags. By turning one inside out, the bag overlaps twice and it can be used seperately on the inside and outside. By tying it in a creative way, the range of uses can be expanded, and the length can be adjusted.

Made from a densely woven blend of hemp and cotton yarns for both warp and weft. Dyed in Kurashiki.

Knots and uneveness in the threads are part of the unique character of the natural materials.
