Kazuyuki Kumagai began his career with five years at Issey Miyake after graduating from a fashion school. In 1999, he established his own brand, ATTACHMENT. Starting with the 2007 AW season, he introduced a collection line under his name; KAZUYUKI KUMAGAI, making his runway debut at Paris Men’s Fashion Week for the 2008 SS season. In 2022, he stepped down as the designer for ATTACHMENT. Following this chapter, he launched his new project, calmlence, in the 2023 Fall/Winter season.
