Black flax ramie silk coat

Overcoat in black flax and ramie - silk by MITTAN with a loose silhouette, flat pattern design, continuous gussets under the sleeves, organic cotton piping tape on the back, nut buttons and two patched front pockets.

The warp threads are made from a blend of two types of hemp, linen (French) and ramie (Chinese), and the weft threads are made from Chinese silk. The characteristic softness of flax is reduced by blending it with ramie, and the silk weft threads make the fabric feel soft against the skin and produce neps, giving it a worn-in feel right from the start.
Knots and uneveness in the threads are part of the unique character of the natural materials.
