Shiiki-mud easy wide corduroy pants

Shikiori ink + mud dyed, loose, tapered, corduroy pants by Mark.S with single pleat, side pockets, two welt back pockets, elasticated waistbaind, inner drawstring and belt loops.

This traditional 100% cotton corduroy features a bold 5-wale weave. By using heavy-gauge yarns (16/1 warp and 20/1 weft), a substantial high-density fabric is archieved that offers exceptional warmth and a sophisticated tactile feel.

Each garment is idividually dyed on the historic island of Amami Oshima.
This organic gray is produced by combining natural mud with the Shiiki (Chinquapin) tree, a vital part of the islandʼs forest. The natural minerals in the mud may result in a subtle, variegated finish. These "shadows" in the color are the signature of the earth itself and proof of the garmentʼs handcrafted origin.
Because of the deep ridges inherent to thick corduroy, you may notice delicate hints of the base dyes -such as the vibrant yellow of the Fukugi tree or deep Indigo- peeking through the wales.

Due to the elastic waistband the trousers can fit different sizes as explained below.
