LOOSE DRESS SHIRT WITH CENTRE BACK PLEAT.

This piece is part of the first 'SOIL' capsule collection, with an extra focus on craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-finished and contains a hand-drawn tag by Jan-Jan Van Essche.

A DENSELY WOVEN SHIRTING WITH A DRY, FUZZY HAND. NATURALLY GARMENT-DYED WITH KAKISHIBU X IRON, CREATED BY DYEING IN KAKISHIBU AND OVER-DYEING WITH IRON MORDANT TO PRODUCE A GREY WITH PINK UNDERTONES, ARCHIEVING A VERY DISTINCT HUE. THE NATURALLY OCCURRING WRINKLES AND QUIET TONAL VARIANCES FROM THE DYEING PROCESS LEND THE GARMENTS A LIVED-IN CALM.

This garment has been dyed using natural dyes and is individually hand-dyed by skilled artisans. As a result each piece is truly unique, vibrant with natural variations in colour, texture and finish that reflect the artisinal process.
