Cube shape scuplture in Japanese wallnut tree bark by Masamitsu Kunugi. 

Two pieces of bark connected on 4x points.

The bark is harvested from late May to the end of June. During this time, trees absorb a lot of moisture, creating space between the bark and the trunk and the bark naturally peels off.
